How to use this map
Every pin is connected to a real, full guide elsewhere on this site — the map is a navigation layer over the actual content, not a separate database that might drift out of sync with it. Click any pin for a one-line summary and a direct link to the guide; use the category chips above the map to isolate just the sights, just the neighbourhoods, or just transport, depending on what you're planning.
A few ways to use it well
- Planning a walking day: turn on just "Sights" and look for clusters — the Old Town landmarks sit close enough together for a single unhurried morning, while the castle side needs its own dedicated block of time.
- Choosing where to stay: turn on "Neighbourhoods" and compare how far each area actually sits from the sights you care about, rather than guessing from a hotel listing's description alone.
- Landing and getting oriented: "Transport" shows the airport and main stations relative to everything else, useful for working out your first move after you arrive.
- Deciding on a day trip: switch on "Day Trips" to see how far Karlovy Vary, Český Krumlov, Kutná Hora and Terezín actually sit from the city — the map zooms out automatically so the distances are honest, not compressed to look closer than they are.
If a pin looks off, or somewhere you'd expect to see isn't here yet, let us know — this map grows the same way the rest of the site does, in small batches, not all at once.
