Prague Zoo
Prague Zoo consistently ranks among the better zoos in the world, spread across a large, hilly riverside site in the Troja district with a cable car connecting different levels of the grounds — a genuine half- or full-day outing rather than a quick stop, and a reliable way to balance out a trip that's otherwise mostly churches and squares.
Water parks and aqua parks
A handful of aqua parks and water parks in and around Prague make for a good warm-weather alternative to another afternoon of walking, particularly useful with younger kids who've had enough of pushchairs and cobblestones for one trip.
Black light theatre
Black light theatre — performers and objects in black-light-reactive costume against a black background, creating a distinctive, wordless visual effect — is something of a Prague speciality, with several dedicated theatres in the centre. It works well as an evening family activity precisely because it needs no shared language to follow.
